OK--- sorry for the blog glitch yesterday... I think we are back on track and I am not going to quite until I get this right even though I have a list of a million other things to do! I am in the middle of a whirlwind! I got to go home to UT to visit for the "Davis Family Reunion" and it was a whopper! We had a 4th of July picnic at the park, watched fireworks and then the next day we had a kids carnival at my parents house where we all ate cotton candy and snowies until we thought we coldn't eat anymore...until we made smores by the fire. It rocked. We had a blow up jumper, a huge water slide, face painting, water balloons it was basically kid heaven. I put sunscreen on Easton 6 times and he still got burned... poor pasty kid. I think he swam from 10:00am until bedtime. The only time he stopped was to get more treats. {I have to add that I was in charge of the cotton candy machine and by the end of the day I was totally covered and sticky. It is way harder than it looks to make cotton candy and I also realized something... I really like cotton candy. you would think that after making about 200 cones I'd hate it. nope. in fact, I wish I had some right now}
Who can resist adorable kids in RED, WHITE, and BLUE??? Grammy and Grandpa got all the kids new matching outfits and they were so cute!
Krystal with Grandma and Grandpa Davis- the reuinion consisted of almost seventy! That is just my aunts, uncles and cousins! They have left quite a posterity...my grandpas heath isn't the best so everyone made a special effort to be there.
Gracie and Hudson
Is this a mini-Shelly or what?!???
Krystal and Jonah
My sisters Shelly and Krystal. Two very beautiful people... inside and out! {Krys- don't let me forget~ I owe you $20!}
cousins are the best buddies...
Logan and Emma... Logan picked the spot and the pose. He is so funny!
Impromptue practice photo shoot with Mel and her boys...thanks for humoring me sis! I know I took a million pictures of you!

Shelly and Sammy...
My brother-in -law Boyd and Jonah... he is such a great dad... patience for FIVE is a talent!
My beautiful Grandma. They made it possible for us to come- thanks so much!!!I have great aunts, uncles, and cousins and it was great to see some that I haven't seen forever. Family is so awsome. Aunt Debbie hosted her part of "the Reunion" at her local Presbyterian church. Easton thought it was much funner to play with toys and have a chocolate fountain at church than to sit during Sacrament and sing during primary... so I guess he's Presbyterian.
My adorable nephew Hudson and Aunt Mel

Here are Eastons new goggles- thanks to Grammy! He feels like (and is) a total stud.

Easton had been wanting to race Jonah since he found out he could say "Ready, Steady, go!" He won one and lost one... I love this picture of those boys. I see trouble and some FUN times ahead!
I also got to see my Papa...he has been working hard and getting in shape (which we all know is not EASY!!!). Not a guy to mess with. Keep it up dad! GO DAD!!!
After much anticipation Easton FINALLY got to meet his new cousins Jonah (formerly known as Atnayios)...whom he was a little intimadated by...and Sammy. He loves them both and can't wait to see them again and spend more time with them!

this is my friend Julines little girl...Easton and her played so well when all of us got together!
I reminisced and reconnected with old friends... funny how life has changed so much and some things change but seem to stay the same- like good friends.

When I returned from UT Derek sister, husband and three kids were here so we had a fun time showing them around. They all got Eye Exams, visited McMinnemens and also got a free family photo shoot at the beach. See... I told you it would be worth it to come see us...
Donoven~ I heard he and Easton praying for a four-wheeler in the back seat on the way to the beach. They are B.U.D. S. and so funny!
Alisa~ love the crab hat!

this is the ultimate sand fort that Derek and Bailee made with little help from everyone else...except me... I was too busy taking pictures~ which I L.O.V.E.

the next day we spend with my sister Shelly and her kids and let the kids play all day in the sun- check out those dimples!
