I'd like to offer up a little tribute to my mom.
A song I made up for her in the car that I now feel inclined to share...not sure why.
I've taken liberty with the words of the song "Dancing Queeen" by ABBA.
Here's to you... my laundry queen.
and here's why... my mom is obsessed with doing laundry. she claims that she doesn't enjoy it, but secretly we all know she does. why else would she get up in the middle of the night to switch loads? who does that???? It is the first thing she does when she get up and the last before bed. EVERY DAY. There are always clean socks and underwear and towels and growing up I just never understood... now I do. soemtimes I secretly leave thing around the house to see if they will magically turn up in clean folded piles in the guest room.

You are soo cute! I love the things you come up with! I think your mom is great! I wish that I could have everything magically be clean at my house! Wouldn't that be nice!
Seriously! I have gone polar opposite of that and ONLY do laundry when I have NO CLEAN UNDERWEAR,SOCKS,OR CLOTHES LEFT!!! She should write a books on how to do laundry properly. I wish I loved the guest room sometimes...I want a laundry queen at my house!
She's an awesome rarity in this world I think. I hate laundry, but it is such a part of life that's never going away, so I need learn to enjoy it more. Love the song tribute!

How funny, what a darling mom you have. I am amazed, who really likes to do the laundry? It would be nice to have her around.
