I can't help but think of my Grandpa every time I eat them.He passed away after 85 years of life. All my relatives went to his funeral and it was absolutely amazing to see the posterity he and my grandma have.
I feel like even though I had him for 26 years there was so much about him that I didn't know. It was so beautiful to hear about different aspect of his life I never knew and for the few days I was in Utah again I had some really tender moments with my family that reminded me that even when life is long, it's short.

I know how you feel. We my Grandma passed away at 100 I had a similar experience. It is so nice to know that they aren't far away and that we will be with them again! I loved you last line...even when life is long, it's short...that is so true and reminds us to make the most of every moment. We send our love to you and your family during this hard time!
So sorry for your loss. I'm glad you were able to be with your family and share happy times.
Since the funeral I have had a lot more time to well-be sad. I really am going to miss Grandpa. It makes me want to be better and live life more fully.
I agree with Shelly. There is so much you never know about someone. The posterity is amazing, what a legacy to leave behind.
I'm so sorry for your loss. You'll always have you sweet memories of him until you see him again.
Hey girl! I am so excited to stay in touch better too! Life changes so fast...I can hardly believe that I am married and have a baby but it is so wonderful! It will be so good to keep up on life...blogs make that so much easier!

I'm sorry to hear this I can't imagine having a Grandparent die. Grandma Melba's 80the brithday is coming up, it's crazy how time goes by so quickly. I hope you are hanging in there. I love the new blog look and it sounds like you had a great holiday.
I always had cinnamon toast, every time I eat it I think of Grandpa.
I'll miss Grandpa tons. I wish I could have got to be there for the funeral and heard all the stories. I heard it was wonderful.
