I believe my answer was somthing along the lines that photosythesis was not occuring because the sun was not shining. Well, the past week (since my mom was here...) it has been pure sunshine and it is has been amazing how it changes things. (That plus having a mom to cook and clean and babysit really can lift your spirits.) The great thing about living here is that as soon as you are sick to death of winter and don't think you can stand one more drop of rain... you open your eyes one day and there it is:
s p r i n g.
No waiting for snow to melt or flowers to pop open- it just happens suddenly. I can't wait to see the blossems on our main street- they blew me away last year and I am excited for them again. So... for all you folks who are still burried under snow... spring is just around the corner.

Spring..? Spring...? hmmmm sounds familiar but I can hardly remember its been so long.
Ok so it has been sunny here too this week, the only thing I can see so far is my dead grass. I guess it't more asleep than dead but still...
I can hardly wait for the daffodils and tulips!!
I'm so jealous!
Isn't it wonderful?! Spring is definetely in the air.
It was 50 degrees and sunny here yesterday and we took the opportunity to go to the zoo (for free I might add). The kids were so cute and happy and excited to run around and play. I absolutely love spring, it just is such a happy time of year! Bring it on!
I am so jealous. That looks so nice. Where we live, in South Ogden, there is still snow on our road because the plows haven't plowed all winter. It is warming up so hopefully it melts this weekend. I am just hoping we see grass in the next month!
