Did "Eye" go overboard???

I love my {future} Optometrist. I really do. And I am so proud of him. He deserved a big fat party after hours of tireless studying and 2 full days of testing...

He would like me to think he was embarrassed by the sign (but I know he likes it because he asked me to take his picture with it which he never does). He is HOT. Eyeball orderves...

And and Eye Ball cake...

and Eyeball cupcakes and cookies... too much???

and I am not quite sure what this is called... it has no name- it's just pure genius. Spectacle bread. That's what I'll call it.

Shirley Temples with floating Eyeballs...

That's how I say Eye am so proud of you!!! With a CHEESY themed-out party. We also had real food. Stuffed Shells and Meat {EYE} balls. yum.
Thanks Bekah for all your help and your culinary brilliance. I love that we pulled this off. It was a great day with you and one more memory here that is so good, it makes me forget the bad. You are the greatest friend.
And honey, I love you so much that I let you name this Post. Look at you, you little blogger!

You are a "spectacle-r" wife! How creative. I love how you made your cake's eye blue. The red veins in the eye is a little much - eww! - but that's probably how Derek's eyes looked after his tests were all said and done.

You sure know how to celebrate! You really are such a cute wife and I'm sure you'll look back and smile at that night (and time in your life) and just smile! (Like when you have 5 kids and can barely make it out for ice cream and get the kids all fed)!!! I can only imagine all the time, effort and brain power exerted for that one occasion! You are amazing!

Love this, what a cute idea. You are so creative! You should be proud of yourself too. It's hard at times being the wife of a busy student. What a fun party!
