My sister Melanie found this picture and when I saw it on her blog I just started crying. I am so filled with love and anticipation for our new nephews that will be here on Saturday. My sister Shelly and her husband have had such a shock in Ethiopia and I am so thankful they chose to follow the spirit and I know Heavenly Father has directed them on every step of this journey. I think we are all feeling bit overwhelmed by the conditions they have seen and have had our eyes opened to another world that is so different from ours. I am praying for their safety and protection until they are home safe... and also for all those children that they can't bring home. This picture really speaks for itself. Please pray for them.

The journey of international adoption is an amazing experience that changes your life. I loved this painting when I saw it, I love all artwork that has international kids. My favorite is called Children of the World by Greg Olsen. We have a small one in our home, but I keep saving for the large one of it, it has an island boy in it so it's one of Kaleb's favorites too. Best of luck to your sister on their adventure and safe return with the little ones.

BTW, I hope you don't mind me posting comments on your blog. I sort of invited myself after linking off Anne's blog. So if you are annoyed, you can e-mail me and tell me to stop!

I love that picture too. We wish we could afford to buy one, but hopefully someday! At least it's something to look forward to.
Thanks for all your prayers. It was so comforting to know that we had family and friends praying for us, we could feel it. What a journey!!! We are so grateful to finally be home with our boys!!!
